ICI is starting its accelerated CNA schedule that is 4 weeks long! This class starts December 19th, 2016 and goes from 7am to 330pm in the afternoon. Be able to complete the CNA Class before the winter break and take the state competency exam by February 2017! This schedule is for the weekday class. It does not matter if you are a seasoned CNA or fresh off the boat, when it comes to looking for employment in this industry, you better be on your A game to nail the position. Here are some tips for making a first impression when interviewing for an open position. Remember, these tips apply to those who just graduated from CNA schools, and those who have been certified for years.
Dress Like a Professional:
Fingernails trimmed and cleaned
Hair pulled out of face
Wrinkle free clothing
Limit the amount of jeweler you wear
No open toed shoes, sandals, sneakers
No jeans, t-shirts, short skirts, or provocative wear
Always be on time
Introduce yourself in a professional manner
Arrive early
Ask questions about the position
Show interest in environment
Show interest in client
